Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the Block by Block community bots and dashboards for Telegram and Discord (the "Service"). Block by Block is operated from the United Kingdom.

1. The Service

We provide bots you add to your Telegram group or Discord server, plus a dashboard, offering analytics, sentiment analysis, AI-generated summaries and recommendations, automated FAQ answering, and gamification. Available features depend on the platform and your plan.

2. Access

Access is granted per community. To use the dashboard you must be an administrator of that community on Telegram or Discord, and be granted access by us for that specific community. The bot must be an administrator in your group or server to work correctly. We may revoke dashboard access if you are no longer an administrator of that community. Access is arranged by contacting us.

3. Plans and pricing

Plans and prices are shown on our website. A Free Trial runs for 7 days. Paid plans run in 30-day periods and are priced per community. Each plan includes usage limits on the number of FAQ entries and automated bot answers. Prices are in USD and exclude any applicable taxes.

4. Usage limits

If you reach your automated-answer limit, the bot pauses automatic answers for the remainder of that period. All other features continue, and reaching a limit does not end your subscription. We show your usage in the dashboard and tell you when you are approaching a limit.

5. Renewal and ending a subscription

Subscriptions run for the period stated in your plan and are renewed by agreement. If a subscription ends or expires: the bot stops collecting data and stops posting in your community, dashboard access for that community is revoked, your existing data is retained so you can resume later without loss, and the bot remains in your group or server unless you remove it. You may ask us to end your subscription at any time. Fees paid for the current period are non-refundable unless required by law.

6. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for having the right to install the bot in your community and to process your members' data, for informing your members that the bot is in use where the law requires it, for the content of any FAQ answers you publish through the bot, and for complying with Telegram's and Discord's own terms.

7. Data and Privacy

How we collect, use, store and delete data through the Service — including message content, member data, retention periods, our AI provider, and how to request deletion — is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. AI-generated content

Some features — summaries, recommendations, FAQ drafts and translations — are generated using AI and may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before relying on it, and we do not guarantee its accuracy. FAQ answers posted by the bot are the ones you approved.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, harass people, send spam, or violate the platforms' rules. We may suspend the Service for a community that does.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the Service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service depends on Telegram, Discord and third-party providers we do not control.

11. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. We will post changes here and revise the date above. Continued use means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
